Administrative Services

Administrative Services provides a wide range of administrative, technology related, collection, procurement and print services that are cost-effective and essential for customer departments to efficiently deliver quality and timely support to the citizens of Placer County. The department has the following divisions:

Administration

Provides Accounts Payable; Financial Monitoring, Forecasting, and Budget; Fixed Assets Support; Personnel, Payroll, and Benefits Services to our customers, user departments and the public through timely, reliable, and accurate administrative services, office automation and fiscal services.

Central Services

Provides efficient and economical reprographic, mail processing / delivery, inventory, and records management services.

Information Technology Services

Provides comprehensive information technology (IT) consulting services, including project plannng and management for system implementations and is also responsible for IT planning, implementing, administering, and maintaining the County’s data systems, including servers, data storage, firewall, and security systems.

Procurement Services 

Provides for the purchase of supplies, equipment and services for all County departments that are required to maintain county operations. Procurement Services is also responsible for receiving, storing, and disposing the County’s surplus property and equipment.

Revenue Services

Provides professional billing and collection services to assist the public in fulfilling their financial obligations to Placer County, Superior Court and other entities Revenue Services represents. It is our goal to maintain legal compliance with Government Codes and to provide the highest standards in our collections practice to accommodate every individual with integrity and professionalism.

Telecommunications Division

Provides planning, development and logistical support for all countywide communication networks, including telephone, radio, data transport, video, media, telemetry and cable television franchise agreements.
