Enterprise Support Services

The Information Technology Enterprise Support Services Group is instrumental in supporting CEO initiatives such as the Public Website Redesign and Employee Engagement as well as being closely aligned with Business Units in support of efficient and effective Business Process Solutions. Citizen Engagement via the County Website is continually evolving to ensure Citizens can easily find and accomplish tasks effectively and efficiently. Employee engagement is promoted via internal websites to promote inter-departmental synergies via information and idea collaboration. The County’s Enterprise Resource Planning ERP solution is being embraced and we are committed to leveraging our investment by introducing new modules and functionality to streamline business processes across the Enterprise. The group is led by Michael Spak, Information Technology Manager, and consists of the following support areas:

HHS Application Analysts

Analysts provide expert level assistance in support of numerous and wide variety of Human Health and Services functional areas and their associated applications:

  • Human Services - includes the new Covered California and the California Healthcare Eligibility, Enrollment and Retention System (CalHEERS) for the California Health Benefits Exchanges.

Automated County On-line Resource Network (ACORN) Application Support Team

Business and application analysts support the county–wide Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solution:

  • PeopleSoft Support and Enhancements

  • Storage Array Administration
  • Disaster Recovery Architecture and Operation

Web and Business Process Solutions

Web, Application and Business Analysts support a variety of applications:
