Land Development and General Government Support Services
The Information Technology (IT) Division for Land Development and General Government Support Services is located at 2986 Richardson Drive in the DeWitt Center in North Auburn. The division is managed by Kathy Buchanan and is responsible for providing information technology support services to the CEO, Board of Supervisors, County Counsel, Personnel, Clerk of the Board, Assessor, Auditor-Controller, Treasurer-Tax-Collector, Clerk-Recorder-Registrar, Library, Veterans, and Facility Services, Community Development Resource Agency (CDRA), Planning, Building, Survey & Engineering, Economic Development, Environmental Health, Redevelopment, Public Works, Agriculture Commissioner, Air Pollution Control and the County’s Geographic Information Systems (GIS) program.
The Land Development and General Government Support Services team also provides consulting services to all County departments and assists in indentifying opportunities to enhance business processes through improved technology solutions. The division provides technical project management for customer projects, including FSR (Feasibility Study Reports) and RFP (Request for Proposal) preparation when required.
