Purchasing Policy Manual
Placer County employs centralized procurement to
provide best value purchasing through fair and open competition,
conducted by trained and dedicated purchasing professionals. The
Procurement Services Division of the Department of Administrative
Services purchases supplies, equipment and services for all County
departments.
The Board of
Supervisors sets forth how purchasing activities are to be
conducted in Placer County and has adopted the Placer County
Purchasing Policy Manual. The policies contained in the Manual
apply to all County departments, including department heads and
elected officials.
