Surplus Sales
Placer County currently uses Public Surplus and GovDeals, online
auction sites, for disposal of surplus property. Offering these
materials in an online format is a greater convenience to the
community and reaches a larger number of potential buyers in a
shorter amount of time than a traditional auction. To view the
items offered on behalf of Placer County, visit the Public Surplus
site at www.publicsurplus.com or GovDeals at
www.govdeals.com. Photos of the items are
posted for you to examine prior to submitting a bid. Any
restrictions or limitations, such as minimum bids, will be
clearly identified on the specific items posted.
The County also uses a live auction for some surplus vehicles. The
