Air Pollution Control District
The Air Pollution Control District (APCD) is a special district created by state law to enforce local, state and federal air pollution regulations. The APCD Board of Directors appoints the APCD's Hearing Board. In April 2000, the Board of Directors adopted the APCD's Mission Statement.

The Placer County Air Pollution Control District Board of Directors
will hold a Public Hearing at their regular meeting, to receive
comments and consider the adoption of the amended
Rule 502, New Source Review. The Public Hearing will
be held Thursday, February 11, 2010, at 2:30 PM ,
at the Placer County Board of Supervisors Chambers
