The Placer County Air Pollution Control District is offering approximately 1.7 million dollars in grants in its 2008 Clean Air Grant (CAG) Program.

This program supports projects which reduce nitrogen oxide and particulate matter emissions by providing incentive funds from both motor vehicle registration fees and off-site air pollution mitigation fees paid by new development within Placer County.
