About The Office
Placer County is located in Northern California, just a quick one-hour flight from Los Angeles. Placer County extends from the North Shore of Lake Tahoe, westward across the Sierra Nevada, through the Mother Lode/Gold Rush region, and into the Central Valley to the doorstep of Sacramento, the State's capital. Interstate 80, which crosses the Sierra and runs through the heart of our county, links two major airports and provides convenient access to any part of the county. That short one-hour flight puts you in the Sacramento airport, near the west end of the county, or the Reno/Lake Tahoe airport, near the east end. Three smaller airports within the county - at Auburn, Lincoln, and Truckee - give you further convenient access.

California's Highest Bridge |
Our diversity of terrain makes Placer County an ideal choice for location shooting. In southwestern Placer County, you'll find pastoral farms, rice paddies, high tech industries, and old and new communities. Through the heart of the Mother Lode, there are gold mines and historic gold mining towns. On the western and eastern slopes of the Sierra, we have picturesque ski resorts, the California's highest bridge at 730 feet high, and the jewel of the Sierra, Lake Tahoe. This wide variety exists within the 90-minute drive along Interstate 80, through Placer County.
...It's easier to pick a place in Placer than to get a green light in Hollywood.
