Placer County Indian Gaming Local Community Benefit Committee (LCBC)
Purpose and Bylaws
As required by state law, Placer County has formed an Indian Gaming Local Community Benefit Committee (LCBC) to distribute funds from a special distribution fund in the form of grants to local government agencies within the county affected by tribal gaming. The grants are to help fund local government agency projects to offset the impacts associated with tribal gaming. LCBC bylaws are available. The LCBC will meet in May, 2012, to consider grant applications and select which projects will be funded.
