Placer County will receive 50 residential building permit allocations from the Tahoe Regional Planning Agency (TRPA) for the calendar year 2009.
The method for distributing these allocations will be a modified lottery system. To qualify for the TRPA allocation lottery, a building permit application (including appropriate plans for a TRPA-buildable site) must be submitted at the Placer County Building Department, 565 West Lake Boulevard, Tahoe City. Applications will be accepted from February 23, 2009, 8:00 a.m. through February 27, 2009, 4:00 p.m.
If the number of applications exceeds the number of allocations, a drawing will be held on March 16, 2009 at 10:00 A.M., at the Board Room of the Tahoe City Public District Administrative Offices, located at 221 Fairway Dr., Tahoe City.
