PLACER COUNTY ANNOUNCES ITS 2010 BUILDING PERMIT ALLOCATION PROGRAM
Placer County will receive 48 residential building permit allocations from the Tahoe Regional Planning Agency (TRPA) for the Calendar year 2010.Of the 48 allocations, 4 are currently unavailable due to past year allocation reservations. The method for distributing these allocations will be a modified lottery system. To qualify for the TRPA allocation lottery, a building permit application (including appropriate plans for a TRPA buildable site) must be submitted at the Placer County Building Department, 565 West Lake Boulevard, Tahoe City. Applications will be accepted from March 1, 2010, 8:00 a.m. through March 5, 2010, 4:00 p.m. If the number of applications exceeds the number of allocations, a drawing will be held on March 10, 2010 at 10:00 A.M., at the Board Room of the Tahoe City Public District Administrative Offices, located at 221 Fairway Dr., Tahoe City.
