The Agency regulates land use and development in the unincorporated areas of Placer County, and includes the below Divisions in both Auburn and Tahoe City:
- Building - Building permits, construction plan check and inspection, code enforcement
- Planning - Zoning, land use, long-range planning for development
- Engineering and Surveying - Site improvement plans, grading and encroachment permits
- Mapping - Mapping services, GIS information, aerial photography, parcel data, permit research, electronic document search
- Environmental Coordination - Coordinates process review timeframes for projects that may have an environmental impact
