| The Redevelopment Agency provided $250,000 toward the Commons Beach project in Tahoe City. In October 2006, the Agency provided $15,000 to the Tahoe City Public Utility District who oversaw construction of the Heritage Plaza project. Heritage Plaza is located near the Tahoe City Commons Beach area within the North Lake Tahoe Redevelopment Project Area. The Project consists of landscaping, tables, benches, drinking fountain and seat walls near Watson Cabin on the lake side of State Highway 28. The Heritage Plaza project is a continuation and compliment to the Commons Beach project and provides for increased recreational opportunities in Tahoe City. |
