| The former Ronning Chevron service station lay underutilized and vacant for several years. As part of the Agency’s strategy to acquire, cleanup, and prepare sites in the eastern gateway portion of KingsBeachfor a future redevelopment project, the Agency purchased the site in April 2007. After acquisition, the agency embarked on an aggressive demolition and cleanup schedule. Buildings on the site were demolished in June 2007. Ongoing cleanup efforts will continue over the next few months. |
