Services Available - Community Development Resource Agency (CDRA)

Customer Service Program -- The Customer Service Desk staff welcome builders, developers, and the public, will determine their needs, and will help them get the services, permits, approvals, or other items they need. Tracking customer service will improve service speed, workflow and service consistency.

Geographic Information Systems (GIS) – Visit Placer County’s land information website to display parcel maps, aerial photography, and other land information such as zoning, school and fire districts, and general and community plan designations. Simply enter your Assessor Parcel Number (APN) or address to view up-to-date maps and geographic information.

Permit Information -- CDRA has installed a new feature for the current permitting system to display current permit information on the web. The public is able to check current permit status, activity status, project descriptions and other permit-related information. Also available is a permit process flowchart for the land development permitting and review process.

Environmental Coordination Services -- The Environmental Coordination Services Division was established to coordinate the environmental review process in Placer County. This Division ensures that projects in environmental review stay on track with timeframes established by both the County and State of California.

Scanning and Imaging -- CDRA has initiated a process to manage land-development documents using scanning and imaging, to improve information accessibility, storage, and retrieval.
