Welcome to the County of Placer’s Development Services website. At this site you will find information and links pertaining to land use and construction permitting requirements for all building projects within the County of Placer. You will also find links to sites that will allow you to check the status of projects throughout the County or in your neighborhood.
Development review services are provided by different Departments within the County. The main Development Services partners include, Planning, Building, Public Works, and Fire Prevention. Information regarding the services provided in each Department are provided in the links from this page. All of the Development Services staff have been co-located into the Community Development Resourse Agency which occupies the first floor of the new building located on the corner of Bell & Richardson in Auburn, California.
