CDRA Services

Customer Service Program -- The Customer Service Desk staff welcome builders, developers, and the public, will determine their needs, and will help them get the services, permits, approvals, or other items they need. Tracking customer service will improve service speed, workflow and service consistency.

Geographic Information System - GIS - Resources -- CDRA has contracted with a firm to create a land information website. The public will be able to use their physical address or APNs (Assessor's Parcel Numbers) to display parcel maps, aerial photography, and other land information like zoning, school and fire districts, and general and community plan designations.

Permit Information -- CDRA has installed a new feature for the current permitting system to display current permit information on the web. The public is able to check current permit status, activity status, project descriptions and other permit-related information.

Environmental Coordination Services -- The 
Environmental Coordination Services Division was established to coordinate the environmental review process in Placer County. This Division ensures that projects in environmental review stay on track with timeframes established by both the County and State of California.

Scanning and Imaging -- CDRA will be initiating a process to manage land-development documents using scanning and imaging, to improve information accessibility, storage, and retrieval.
