An Environmental Impact Report (EIR) provides the general public, state, and local agencies with detailed information on the potentially significant environmental impacts of a proposed development project and identifies mitigation measures to reduce these impacts, including an analysis of alternatives to the proposed project. This report, required by the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), assists the decision-makers to make an informed judgment on the merits of a project.
All County EIRs are listed alphabetically on this page for a duration of 12 months after their certification by the Board of Supervisors. For information on EIRs that are no longer available on the web, please contact Environmental Coordination Services at 530-745-3132 or email cdraecs@placer.ca.gov.
