Applegate Regional Sewer Pipeline Project
The proposed improvements would decommission the treatment ponds at the Applegate Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) and install pump stations and a pipeline to convey Applegate’s wastewater to the existing sewer collection system that conveys wastewater to the SMD 1 WWTP on Joeger Road in North Auburn. The project area includes the Applegate WWTP (approximately 8 miles northeast of Auburn, APN# 073-120-013) and site of the proposed 6.2-mile pipeline (from the Applegate WWTP to the existing pipeline system on Dry Creek Road) in Placer County.
