Northstar at Tahoe Overall Mountain Master Plan

Northstar-at-Tahoe is requesting a series of improvements and expansion of mountain recreation opportunities on existing recreation opportunities at the resort. This includes approval of a General Plan Amendment to the Martis Valley Community Plan to transfer existing land use designations, a 10-year roll-out Rezoning of TPZ, and a Phased Conditional Use Permit to develop a series of project-level (near term) and program-level (conceptual) improvements. A portion of the project site is zoned Timberland Production (TPZ) district and a 10-year roll-out rezoning of TPZ to Forestry (FOR) district is proposed to accommodate proposed ski lift facilities and ski runs in these locations.
