Patterson Sand & Gravel Mine Expansion Project
This project is an expansion of the Cemex/Patterson Sand and Gravel mine, located on approximately 884 acres in Placer (primarily) and Yuba counties, approximately 2.5 miles northeast of the unincorporated community of Sheridan along the Bear River. The expansion area consists of a total of approximately 448 acres, including 365 acres of additional mined area and 83 acres of preservation area. The project was approved by the Board of Supervisors on October 2, 2007.
