Tahoe Sands Redevelopment Timeshare

The existing Tahoe Sands Resort is an antiquated 67-unit timeshare property that consists of a combination of guest cabins, motel suites, studios with kitchenettes, a reception building and direct beach access, two swimming pools, play yards and a large lawn area. The existing resort would be replaced with a master-planned timeshare development of 103 guest units and six affordable/employee housing units, for a total of approximately 109 units.

The project is located at 6610 North Lake Boulevard and is within the unincorporated portion of Placer County in the Tahoe Vista area. The proposed project would include the redevelopment of the five project parcels located on both the mountain side (north) and lake side (south) of State Route 28, which comprise of the existing Tahoe Sands Resort. The parcels account for approximately 7.2 acres of land within the Tahoe Vista Community Plan Area.
