Comments for Cabin Creek EIR Notice Of Preparation coming to a close

The comment period for the public to provide input for the Cabin Creek Environmental Impact Report (EIR) Notice Of Preparation (NOP) will be open until January 23, 2012 at 5:00 PM.

A brief description of the project and alternatives likely to be evaluated in the EIR, and a summary of the probable environmental effects of the proposed project are available for review on the Placer County website at: http://www.placer.ca.gov/Departments/CommunityDevelopment/EnvCoordSvcs/EIR.aspx.

The NOP is being circulated for a period of 45 days, which exceeds the minimum circulation period specified in the State CEQA Guidelines Section 15082(b). Therefore, your response is requested at the earliest possible date, but no later than Monday, January 23, 2012. Please send your comments to Maywan Krach at Placer County by mail, fax, or email (see information below).

The Placer County Planning Services Division held one public scoping meeting in connection with the proposed project. The scoping meeting was held to receive comments from the public and other interested parties and agencies regarding the issues that should be addressed in the EIR on Wednesday, January 11, 2012.
