The Board of Supervisors held a workshop on Tuesday, June 12th at 10:30am to review the proposed Placer Vineyards Specific Plan - no formal action was required. A second workshop was held Tuesday, June 26th at 10:30 am to discuss the project's Environmental Impact Report, Finance Plan, Services Plan and Development Agreement.

A second Partially Recirculated Draft Environmental Impact Report was distributed for public review. Comments were due no later than May 16, 2007.

The Placer County Planning Commission recommended approval to the Board of Supervisors regarding the following actions at a public hearing on January 25, 2007 (action agenda):

• Approval of Placer County General Plan Amendments
• Approval of Dry Creek West Placer Community Plan Amendments
• Approval of the Placer Vineyards Specific Plan
• Approval of the Placer Vineyards Development and Land Use Standards
• Approval of the Rezoning to Specific Plan (SPL-PVSP)
• Approval of the Project Development Agreement(s)
