Agency Review Draft Placer County Conservation Plan - Placer County is pursuing a Natural Community Conservation Plan (NCCP) under the State of California Natural Community Conservation Planning Act and a Habitat Conservation Plan (HCP) under the Federal Endangered Species Act (FESA) for Western Placer County. This plan, termed the Placer County Conservation Plan (PCCP), includes a program designed to ensure the continued conservation of threatened and endangered species in Placer County and to resolve potential conflicts between otherwise lawful urban development activities and the conservation of the species on non-Federal land in the County. Conservation planning for all of Placer County is being undertaken in phases.
