Biological Working Group
Stakeholder involvement throughout the course of planning is important to ensure an open, transparent, and inclusive decision-making process. Part of initiating the PCCP planning process involved convening a Biological Working Group (BWG) of approximately 25 members representing a wide variety of interests including conservation organizations, business and development interests, landowners, agricultural interests, open space land-management organizations, and the general public. The Stakeholder Group meets to review technical and policy issues and to make recommendations to staff and elected officials.
