Liberty Ranch Bill Hill Preserve Conservation Easement and Public Trail
Secured by the Placer Land Trust, the County contributed $315,000 towards this 313-acre conservation easement and public access trail easement. Kitty-corner to the Taylor Ranch property, the site provides valuable wildlife habitat and consists of blue oak woodland, two perennial streams and numerous ephemeral drainages that flow northward from Big Hill into the Bear River and southward into Coon Creek.
