How does the public become involved in this process?
The public is encouraged to attend the Plan Area Team Workshops, Town Hall Meetings, the Board of Supervisors and Planning Commission public hearings, the North Tahoe Regional Advisory Council, as well as contacting by phone, email, or mail the County staff as shown below. Also, the team members on the Plan Area Teams are homeowners and/or business owners in your town areas. Talk to them and let them know what you would like to be included in this Plan update. Feel free to call Crystal Jacobsen, Project Manager, or Nicole Hagmaier, Staff Support to Crystal, and they would be more than happy to speak with you. If you would like copies of handouts, presentations, agendas, etc., please let Crystal or Nicole know and we can email or send them by mail to you.
