The Placer County Planning Services Division and the Tahoe Regional Planning Agency (TRPA) work together to process permits in the Tahoe Basin based on the provisions of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the two agencies. The Placer County Zoning Ordinance also applies to all land uses and development within the unincorporated areas of Placer County. To submit a Site Assessment request, the form is available in both Word and PDF formats.
Effective August 28, 2011 - Planners are unavailable on Mondays, as well as Tuesday through Friday from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
