Public Meetings
Staff has and will continue to provide project updates to the Planning Commission and Board of Supervisors at their public hearings (no actions are taken - these are informational items on the agendas). The PowerPoint presentations are provided here. Additional presentations will be added to this page during the project review process:
Squaw Valley Municipal Advisory Council meets the first Thursday of each month at 6:00 p.m. at the Squaw Valley Public Service District offices in the Community Meeting Room. Their agendas are available on the Board of Supervisors website. Staff will present periodic project updates to the MAC throughout the project review, which is estimated to be 18 to 24 months.
Planning Commission – Staff will periodically update the Planning Commission on the status of The Village at Squaw Valley Specific Plan and Phase 1 Project. The Commission will conduct a public hearing to receive comments on the Draft EIR after it has been distributed for review. The Commission will hold another public hearing after the Final EIR has been completed and will consider taking action on the project.
Board of Supervisors - Staff will update the Board of Supervisors on project milestones prior to the Board’s consideration of the Specific Plan and Phase I Project entitlement requests
