Environmental Coordination Services was established to coordinate the environmental review process in Placer County. This office ensures that projects in environmental review stay on track with timeframes established by both the County and State of California.

Notice of Determination Fees

For 2014, the Department of Fish and Wildlife (DFW) fees for the "Notice of Determination" filing are:

  • Negative Declarations - $2,231.25 (includes Recorder's fee)
  • Environmental Impact Reports - $3,079.75 (includes Recorder's fee)
