TOP Applegate Park 290 Applegate School Road, Applegate CA 95703 Park Facilities: Baseball diamond, decomposed granite trail, group picnic pavilion, basketball court, and tot lot adjacent to the park, beside the Applegate library. Reservation Applications are taken for the baseball field and BBQ Pavilion. All areas of the park that are not reserved are available on a first-come, first serve basis. Auburn Library Garden Theater 350 Nevada Street, Auburn CA 95603 Park Facilities: Large sloped lawn with concrete stage for concerts, weddings, plays, etc. Available by reservation only. All areas of the park are available on a first-come, first serve basis.
Auburn Plaza Park 2390 Plaza Way, Auburn CA 95603 Park Facilities: Small park between the Bel-Air & Kmart shopping centers with benches, picnic tables & shade trees. All areas of the park are available on a first-come, first serve basis.	Moondunes Beach Located in Tahoe Vista just off of North Lake Boulevard (State Route 28) Park Facilities: sandy beach This beach is maintained by North Tahoe Public Utility District under contract to Placer County. Bear River Campground 2500 Campground Road, Colfax CA 95713 Park Facilities: hiking trails, swimming, fishing and gold panning, vault restrooms, and 23 family campsites w/ BBQ and picnic table (available on a first-come, first-served basis). Reservation Applications are taken for large groups of 50 – 100 people on the first business day of the New Year by telephone only. Please call 530-886-4901 for more information. Insurance is required for group campsite reservations in addition to a refundable security deposit. Feist Park 9180 Twin Schools Road, Granite Bay CA 95746 Park Facilities: 3 little league baseball fields with 2 overlaying multi-use fields, 3 soccer fields, 2 tot lots, restrooms, a covered barbecue pavilion and 6 tennis courts. It’s south facing aspect and a lake floor that gradually deepens make this one of the warmest swimming areas at Lake Tahoe. Foresthill Leroy Botts Memorial Park 24601 Harrison Street, Foresthill CA 95631 Park Facilities: BBQ/picnic areas, gazebo, volley ball, horseshoe pits, basketball, concrete dance floor, 2 baseball fields, tennis courts, tot lot. All areas of the park that are not reserved are available on a first-come, first serve basis. Griffith Quarry Park 7405 Rock Springs Road, Penryn CA 95663 Park Facilities: passive park, with picnic areas and trails. A county museum is also on the park grounds. All areas of the park are available on a first-come, first serve basis. Heritage Plaza Park 570 N. Lake Boulevard, Tahoe City CA 96145 Park Facilities: picnic tables, vista point, beaches, amphitheater, interpretive signs, flush toilets located nearby at Commons Beach. Hidden Falls Regional Park 7587 Mears Place, Auburn CA 95603 Parks Facilities: picnic areas, fishing, swimming, restrooms, 221-acre open space, 7 miles of natural surface trails suitable for hiking, running, biking and horseback riding. Please stay on the trail to protect the environment. Dogs must be under control on a maximum six (6) foot leash. Lake Forest Beach Park, North Lake Tahoe located a the end of Bristlecone Ave. in Lake Forest. Park Facilities: picnic facilities, lake views, beach access. This beach is maintained by Tahoe City Public Utilities District under contract to Placer County. For information, please call the District at (530) 583-3796.	Traylor Ranch Nature Reserve and Bird Sanctuary 5050 English Colony Road, Penryn CA 95663 Park Facilities: 90-acre passive park with many trails (Hiking and Equestrian) and family picnic areas. Loomis Basin Community Park 3550 Ong (Winters) Road, Loomis CA 95650 South Side Park Facilities: 3 ball fields, 2 tot lots, basketball court, horseshoe pits, covered pavilion, restrooms, bicycle/pedestrian trails and an equestrian arena. Reservation Applications are taken for the ball fields and BBQ Pavilion. All areas of the park that are not reserved are available on a first-come, first serve basis. Equestrian Arena: Reservations are made thru the Loomis Basin Horsemen’s Association. The same County Liability requirements are required for Arena Event reservations or for Trainers Permits.
