Placer Adult Literacy Service (PALS)

We are deeply saddened by the loss of our friend, Richard “Dick” Cushman (1929 - 2011), a supporter of literacy for 25 years and founding member of the Literacy Support Council of Placer County. Dick’s influence has a significant and lasting impact on literacy throughout the Placer County community. We are eternally grateful for his dedication and commitment to the PALS program.

To complete the course you must attend both days.  There is no cost to attend.  Participants must pre-register so that adequate materials can be supplied.
