Computer Resources

The library provides free public access to a number of online and CD-ROM legal resources. Publisher licensing agreements restrict the use of these databases to the public terminals in the library.

CEB OnLaw	Over 130 of CEB's core practice guides and publications. Areas of coverage include: Business Law, Civil Litigation, Criminal Law, Employment Law, Estate Planning, Evidence, Family Law, Real Property, Torts and Workers' Compensation.
EBSCO Research Databases	Full-text access to 1750 general interest periodical titles, as well as 500 general reference books, primary source documents and image collection.
HeinOnline	Fully searchable PDF image-based database. Law Journal Library, U.S. Supreme Court Library, U.S. Federal Legislative History Library, Treaties and Agreements Library and more.
Lexis	California Enhanced Subscription includes: Shepard's, California cases, California Codes, California agency decisions, California Code of Regulations, 9th Circuit and District Court cases, U.S. Supreme Court cases, U.S. Code. Can retrieve (but not search for) out-of-state cases by citation. Ability to email documents directly from program.
LexisNexis CD	California Forms of Pleading and Practice, California Legal Forms Transaction Guide, California Contract Litigation, California Intellectual Property Handbook, Ballentine and Sterling California Corporation Laws, Practice Under the California Corporate Security Laws, BAJI, CALJIC.
Martin Dean's Essential Forms	Easy to use program to fill in Judicial Council Forms. Also includes 38 non-Judicial Council forms.
NewsBank	Electronic access to 100s of newspapers including the Sacramento Bee, San Francisco Chronicle and 49 others from California.
West LawDesk	Included here: Barclay's California Code of Regulations, California cases (2d., 3rd., 4th) and slip opinions, Code of Federal Regulations, Supreme Court Reporter, Witkin combined, West's Annotated California Codes, West's California Digest, United States Code Annotated and 18 Rutter practice guides.
Word Processing	The library has both MS Word and WordPerfect. Documents are best saved on a USB flash drive.
