Literacy Tutor and Student 

PALS provides adults with the tools to change their lives by giving them the reading, writing, and basic math skills needed to earn a living, stay healthy and improve our community.

Upcoming Literacy Tutor Trainings:

The next Volunteer Literacy Tutor Training will be Monday, August 29 from 1:00  - 4:00 p.m. in the Auburn Library Beecher Room. To register, or find out more, please contact Angela Perron by phone: 530-886-4530 or Email: PALS@placer.ca.gov. There is no cost to become a literacy tutor. Interested participants must pre-register so that adequate materials can be supplied.

Literacy Support Council of Placer County

Formed in 1991, we are a non-profit, volunteer run organization, whose sole purpose is to support the Placer Adult Literacy Service.
