Welcome to the County of Placer Personnel Department home page. Placer County employs nearly 3,000 people who provide services and support at locations ranging from North Lake Tahoe to Roseville.

The Personnel Department is staffing to the Civil Service Commission and is responsible for recruiting and testing candidates for employment; and administers employee benefits and the affirmative action plan.
