To meet the special needs of children who may be at risk, and their families, we've organized an integrated team offering comprehensive services, including staff from Children's Mental Health, Child Welfare, Probation, Education, Substance Abuse Services, Public Health, Probation, and Education.
Services include:
- ACCESS - Adult, Child & Community Emergency Services Systems, for at-risk children and adults in emergencies and crises, and to report child and elder abuse. This is a 24-hour service.
- Foster youth educational assistance (Placer County Office of Education)
- Adoptions and foster home placement & licensing, in partnership with Sierra Adoptions, Inc.
- Child welfare services
- Citation hearings
- Psychiatric assessments
- Family counseling
- Sexual abuse treatment
- ...And a wide variety of other children's and family social services
