The Placer County Sheriff’s Office offers a no-cost program for children and adults with autism, Down syndrome or similar conditions, Alzheimer disease, dementia and other memory-related illnesses, who may wander from the safety of caregivers.

Identifying information, which includes a current photograph, is entered into an identification database which provides responding deputies with the information they need to assist in the search for your loved one. 

Should an at-risk person go missing, the caregiver should immediately call 911 to facilitate assistance with the search.    

To register an at-risk resident who resides in the unincorporated area of Placer County, please complete the form provided and return via mail.
