ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease)
VA has recognized Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) diagnosed in veterans with 90 days or more of continuously active service in the military was caused by their military service.
If you have been diagnosed with ALS you should contact this office for information on how to apply for benefits.
If a surviving spouse's husband died of ALS you should also contact this office to obtain benefits.
