Lake Forest Water Quality Improvement

What is it?

Improves urban stormwater runoff conditions in the West Dollar Point subdivision and the commercial area of Lake Forest.

ROAD CLOSURE UPDATE: Lake Forest Road will be closed for grinding and paving between September 10 and September 23, 2014.  Local residents, business owners and business customers will be accommodated with access, however, expect delays of 30 minutes or more.

The Lake Forest Boat Ramp managed by the Tahoe City Public Utility District will be closed for the season on Sunday, September 7, 2014.  Boat trailers are strongly discouraged from using Lake Forest Road until reconstruction is complete.

CONSTRUCTION UPDATE NOTE: The Contractor intends to grind (remove the top few inches of asphalt) on both lanes of Lake Forest Road beginning in mid-August 2014.  This construction work will require one-way traffic controls on Lake Forest Road through October 5, 2014.  Thank you for your patience.
