Scheduling Your Ride (745-7560)

  • To schedule a ride, call South Placer Transit Information at (530) 745-7560 or (916) 745-7560 at least the day before your desired trip time.
  • When calling to make a DAR reservation, please have the following information ready:
    • Your name
    • Whether you will be bringing an accompanying passenger
    • Phone number
    • Home address
    • Pick-up address
    • Desired pick-up time and appointment time (if applicable)
    • Destination address
    • Mobility needs (i.e. wheelchair, walker, scooter, etc.)
    • Return trip pick-up time

Reserve trips the day before

  • Same day requests are served based on availability.
  • Allow 15 minutes on either side of reserved trip time for pick-up.
  • No service on Sunday or holidays.
  • Dial-A-Ride (DAR) is a shared-ride service that operates on a demand-response basis.
  • DAR services are open to the general public with discount fares available to seniors, persons with disabilities and ADA-certified passengers.

  • Rocklin/Loomis
    • Monday through Friday:
      • First pick up 6:00 a.m. to last drop off 7:55 p.m.
    • Rocklin High School:
      • Drop off 6:45 a.m. and 7:45 a.m.; pick up 3 p.m.
    • Saturday:
      • First pick up 9:00 a.m. to last drop off 3:55 p.m

  • Granite Bay
    • Monday through Friday:
      • AM: First pick up 9:00 a.m. to last drop off 11:00 a.m.
      • PM: First pick up 2:00 p.m. to last drop off 4:00 p.m.
    • Saturday:
      • No service
  • Hwy. 49
    • Monday through Friday:
      • First pick up 6:00 a.m. to last drop off 7:30 p.m.
    • Saturday:
    • First pick up 8:00 a.m. to last drop off 6 p.m.
