Contact: Lynn Howe 916.652.4164

Looking for highschool seniors who love animals and want to help them find lasting homes! A New Hope Animal Foundation, Angels Rescuing Critters and Second Chance Rabbits are offering a new program for local highschool seniors who would like to foster a puppy, cat or rabbit and earn community service credits! The teens must have parental support and need to provide a letter of recommendation from one of their high school teachers or administrators. Teens will learn how to prepare animals for adoptive homes including how to groom, basic training, crate training and will learn about responsible pet guardianship.
