Placer County - Dental Services
| Effective January 1, 2011 the Placer County Dental Clinic on C Ave in the DeWitt Center in Auburn is closed. Dental services paid for by the County Indigent Care Program - MCSP (Medical Care Services Program) - are being provided to residents in the western Placer region by Chapa-De Indian Health Clinic, located at 11670 Atwood Drive in Auburn, under a contract with the County. The Placer County Board of Supervisors approved this change on December 14, and also approved reducing MCSP dental services to the same services offered by Denti-Cal. |
Chapa-De's location on Atwood Drive is less than one mile from the existing dental clinic. Chapa-De will also serve Denti-Cal and private pay patients on a sliding fee scale. Patients must show their MCSP certificate of eligibility or their Blue and White BIC, MediCal ID card, prior to requesting services.
