The mission of the Placer County Tobacco Prevention Program is to reduce the impact of tobacco on Placer County residents. Program goals include the following:
- Reduce exposure to second-hand smoke
- Counter pro-tobacco influences
- Reduce availability of tobacco products to minors
- Support the enforcement of tobacco laws and policies
- Educate Placer County residents regarding tobacco issues
- Build assets to mitigate the impact of tobacco on our community
