Fresh Air Placer County

The Placer County Tobacco Prevention Program recently offered all Placer County restaurants with outdoor dining the opportunity to participate in the “Fresh Air Placer County” campaign. Participation in this campaign required interested restaurant owners to voluntarily designate 100% of their outdoor dining areas as smoke-free. The goal of “Fresh Air Placer County” is to reduce the hazards of secondhand smoke among employees and patrons and reduce tobacco-related litter.

To date, 45 restaurants have joined the “Fresh Air Placer County” campaign.

The Placer County Tobacco Prevention Program would like to thank all of the restaurants who have adopted a voluntary smoke-free outdoor dining policy.
