Complaints Program
Welcome to the Placer County Environmental Health Complaint Program.
As an Environmental Health jurisdiction we received over 1,500 complaints last year. The complaints involved a wide range and possible combinations of our programs, or other County department programs. We are committed to investigating each and every valid complaint upon their submittal to our office.
The Informational Letter from the Director of Environmental Health, provides information in which to consider when filling out a complaint form.
We accept a Complaint Form in many formats. Just print, fill it out, and then send it to us in what ever form is easy for you. We accept complaints by mail, fax, phone, or in person. Our contact information is here. We are working towards having complaints be accepted by e-mail as well.
Complaint confidentiality
Complainant information can be confidential if so requested until a legal process begins. To enhance our ability to investigate the complaint, we require contact information for the complainant.
