Welcome to the Placer County Environmental Health Complaint Program.
As an Environmental Health jurisdiction we received over 1,500 complaints last year. The complaints involved a wide range and possible combinations of our programs, or other County department programs in which we may work with.
The Informational Letter from the Director of Environmental Health, provides information in which to consider when filling out a complaint form.
We accept a Complaint in many formats. However, if your complaint involves sewage on the ground or an illness from a food source please call our office at 1-530-745-2300 and hold on the line to speak with the receptionist . For all other complaints please submit it in one of the following ways.

Complaint confidentiality
Complainant information can be confidential if so requested until a legal process begins. To enhance our ability to investigate the complaint, we require contact information for the complainant.
