Food Bourne illness complaints

If you feel you became ill because of food eaten at a food facility; Please contact the Communicable Disease nurse at 530-889-7150. NOTE:  Please be ready to provide 3-day food history. 

All other complaints (food facility related, land development, hazardous materials, sewage, and dumping) please contact Environmental Health us at 530-745-2300

Once these complaints (non-food borne) are logged in to the computer, these complaints are assigned (within 24 to 48 hours).   The investigating specialist will only notify the complainant of the status, if the complainant specifically requested that they be informed or notified. 

The complainant’s name remains confidential unless legal action is taken, and is required
