Food Sampling Guidelines
The following food sampling guidelines were originally intended for operators at a Farmer's Market facility. The guidelines, however, are effective in many other Food Sampling situations. These guidelines may be applied in a large variety of facility settings, outside of the Farmer's Market setting, such as Temporary Events, Fairs, and Fesivals to name just a few.
The Food Sampling guidelines details (5) basic requirements:
1. Produce must be clean
2. Your hands must be clean
3. Your utensils must be clean
4. Handle all waste properly
5. Correctly give samples
6. Keep potentially hazardous foods cold
