Land Use and Water Resources Team staff reviews development projects to encourage the integration of public health requirements and goals with land use planning and design decisions .
State law, State regulation, the Placer County General Plan, the various County Community Plans, and city plans designate public health evaluation of development projects in the areas of sewage disposal, water supply, water quality, vectors, hazardous materials, noise, environmental health hazards, and solid waste.
