This team of business development staff provides no-cost hiring, training and workforce-related assistance to small business owners
and human resource professionals. The services help businesses with expansion, retention and relocation plans.
Business services include: internet job postings, resume database searches, interview/orientation scheduling, recruiting events, job fairs, interview space, training programs, tax incentives, on-the-job training reimbursements, and rapid response services for worker layoffs/
displacements and provision of layoff aversion strategies.

The South Placer Employer Advisory Council (SPEAC) and the Foothill Employer Advisory Council (FEAC) are two of 50 local nonprofit organizations that exist
under the statewide umbrella organization called the California Employer Advisory Council (CEAC). The goal of SPEAC and FEAC is to assist local businesses in keeping up-to-date on current issues and legislation that affect businesses by holding monthly and annual seminars.

The California Job Openings Browse System (CalJOBs)
An internet-based job-posting/resume system provided by the California Employment Development Department (EDD) Job Services Division.

No Fee. There are no fees for either employers or job seekers to use this service.
• Resume Database. CalJOBS has the largest database of job seekers in California.
• Easy Access. CalJOBS is available to employers and job seekers 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Virtually any computer that has access to the internet can
be used to access CalJOBS. CalJOBS can still serve employers without internet access. A Customer Service Representative from any partnering agency, as well
as your local EDD representative, can take job openings by telephone or fax to assist employers in locating qualified applicants.
